A weird ride into the wet psychedelic world of Sporal, designed by award winning contemporary artist Mimosa Echard.

Game developed in 3 months with Unity 2022 by Karl Fayeton.

ORIGIN

Sporal is an art game and can be seen as an extension of the exhibition shown at the Palais de Tokyo in 2022.

WHAT DID I DO?

My task was to remake the game based on a previous version created by Mimosa and her artistic team last year, which was considered to be of unsatisfactory quality.

I developed the new version from scratch, creating my own character controller, dialog system, diary inventory, UI, multi-language support, and more.

I made efforts to reuse the original assets as much as possible, including the photogrammetric scans used for the initial level design, as well as the music tracks and sounds.

I maintained the game structure unchanged and aimed to restore the original game design as intended.
